El Greco Gallery
Nicosia, Cyprus - 2010

The work started several years ago and developed in parallel with the architectural discourse, as a medium between art - architecture and social behaviors of today.

The architect experiments with bronze, iron, polycarbonate, corian and glass, combining traditional craftsmanship, handmade techniques and contemporary materials, transcending tectonic properties into “a mass of social behaviors - responses“ and vice–versa.

All objects of the collection are one-off handmade pieces that differentiate their context from today’s mass production editions that are of little or no difference between them and are guided by related fashion or ephemeral trends.

Affected by emotions, actions, re-actions and beliefs, the work re-examines and re-generates its “context” through several conceptual procedures and architectural techniques.

Each object is affected by different parameters and re-animates its morphological and programmatic qualities accordingly.

Through filtering procedures emotions are tectonically re-packed into a solid mass that is re-worked and re-formed into extra-ordinary objects of emotions, which gradually reveal hidden secrets.
